The Tree is Down..

We had a wonderful Christmas. The kids were excited that Santa did come to visit. We spent the day at the fire station with dh. The kids had a blast playing freeze tag in the station. We were very lucky to be able to spend the day with dh since he was on duty.

We traveled to NC to visit my in-laws. We had the most amazing time. We ate, and ate and ate some. (yes I know..bad sentence). My mil made the most amazing Christmas feast and we have decided that it will be a holiday tradition from now on. We had crab legs, a shrimp boil(fingerling potatoes, mini corn on the cob, smoked sausage, shrimp layered in a stockpot), clams, mussels, garlic bread and spinach balls. It was a HUGE meal and it made everyone very very happy.

We have now taken the tree, put the decorations away and we are ready for a winter's nap.
